Precaff (n)

Definition

A drink invented by Vic Suckerbag whereby you take varying quantities of normal coffee granules mixed with decaffeinated coffee granules in an attempt to reduce the caffeine content of instant coffee whilst retaining most of the flavour.

Etymology

Precaff is a contraction of partially re-caffeinated decaffeinated coffee.

Photophoboproxography (n)

Definition

Photophoboproxography is a special instance of photography, where the photographer is too scared of fluorescothugs to take a picture him or herself.ย  The photographer will appoint a friend to take the photograph for him or her.

Etymology

Photophoboproxography is a mash-up of photography, Phobos (the Greek god of fear) and proxy (a person authorised to do something on someone elseโ€™s behalf).

Placcy-baccy (n)

Definition

A half-baked invention where one uses a plastic tube (for example a spent fountain pen cartridge) and stuff it with tobacco before lighting the assembly and smoking it like a cross between a pipe and a cigarette.ย  The result is a disposable pipe, which packs a punch heavier than the fabled jenkem, due to the inhalation of toxic fumes from the combustion of plastic.

Etymology

Placcy-baccy is a portmanteau of placcy (British slang for plastic, chiefly northern English) and baccy (British slang for tobacco).

Proxnic (n)

Definition

A picnic that one attends but does not participate in to the full extent, that is, one does not consume food and merely attends for the company and the sunshine.ย  This is typically because a picnic is called at short notice and one has already eaten.

Etymology

Proxnic is an inverted contraction of picnic by proxy.
